PAAIA’s Civic Engagement Initiative is a program committed to encouraging and enabling Iranian Americans to get involved as concerned members of their communities, both nationally and locally. We aim to highlight the success stories of Iranian Americans actively involved in public service and to encourage other Iranian Americans to participate in this space.
As part of the initiative, we're bringing civic engagement programs to cities throughout the country. Our first regional event will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Institute of Technology. The program will include some incredible speakers and panels. Learn about how to tell your story effectively and use it to enact change in your community. Hear from elected officials about their experiences running for office and how you can make a difference on the local level.
Ticket Includes:
Early Bird ticket sales end on October 16th. General Admission is $35. Students may attend for $15, but must have a school ID.

The Event is sponsored by Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Atlanta Global Studies Center, Georgia Tech School of Modern Languages, Georgia Tech School of History and Sociology, Georgia Tech Iranian Student Association, Georgia Tech Iranian Studies Initiative, Persian-American Resource Society (PARS).
