The workshop "Commercializing medical devices" will take place at Georgia Tech on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Experts will present to French and American companies the necessary requirements in order to commercialize medical devices in both France and the United States. Their presentations will be followed by success stories told by French and American entrepreneurs.

The first session will be dedicated to the clinical trial process in both France and the United States and will gather panelists such as Dr. David Ku, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship's Program for Engineering Entrepreneurship at the College of Management of Georgia Tech ; Marc Henri Winter, Technical Director of the French National Research Center for Metrology and Trials(LNE/ G-MED America); and Dominique Lemoine, Attorney At Law at Carreras & Lemoine LLP.

Their presentation will be completed by the success stories of companies from each countryincluding Mr. Marc Girardot, Founder, Managing Member and Business Development Director of Biomed Design LLC and Mike Foley, Sales Manager at Anthogyr.
