The Georgia Tech Iranian Student Association has invited an impressive group of public and elected officials to Georgia Tech for this day-long event. 

Organized by the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA), speakers include the Honorable James Clapper, retired Lieutenant General and former Director of National Intelligence; Dr. Firouz Naderi, former Director for Solar System Exploration, JPL, NASA; Maryam Banikarim, Chair, Reporters without Borders USA; Samira Jafari, Executive Editor, CNN; Samira Jali Burns, Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Head Start; Davar Ardalan, Founder & Storyteller in Chief, IVOW; Honorable Stephanie Bice, Oklahoma State Senator and U.S. Congressional candidate, Oklahoma (District 5); Honorable Amir Farokhi, City Council Member, Atlanta (District 2); Honorable Zahra Karinshak, Georgia State Senator and U.S. Congressional candidate, Georgia (District 7); Amanda Makki, U.S. Congressional candidate, Florida (District 13); and Yassamin Ansari, climate strategist, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
