Full Summary: Diemo Schwarz of  is holding a talk about the research work conducted at IRCAM (Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music).

In collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the USA, Georgia
Tech School of Music is establishing strong links in research and education with
France’s IRCAM. An agreement will be signed between Georgia Tech and IRCAM to
formalize the collaboration.


Diemo Schwarz will specifically talk about the research work of the Sound-Music-
Movement Interaction team at IRCAM.

IRCAM (Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics / Music) is a worldrenowned
institute for science and music and sound and avant-garde electro-acoustical
art music. It is situated next to, and organizationally linked with, the Centre Georges
Pompidou in Paris.
