R is a free, statistical analysis software package that is commonly used in research environments for data analysis and visualization. In this hands-on attendees will learn the basics of how to get started with the R Studio environment, including working with sample data to perform introductory statistical analysis and basic data visualization.
The session is geared towards those with minimal or no experience using the R software package although understanding of statistical concepts such as median and correlation is recommended. There is no cost for this workshop but all attendees will need to bring laptops. Seating is limited to current Georgia Tech students, staff and faculty, and advance registration is recommended.
