The 8th Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy to be held in October at Georgia Tech

The 8th Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy to be held on October 14-16 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. To be followed on the afternoon of the 16th by: SciSIP PI conference Advanced IP Analytics for Research Workshop 
and on October 17th: 9th annual Global TechMining Conference.

The Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy provides a showcase for the highest quality scholarship from around the world addressing the challenges and characteristics of science and innovation policy and processes.

  • ​Where do science and innovation fit in global dynamics today?
  • Should policies stoke innovation fires as the engines of growth or direct them to solve environmental challenges?
  • Is technology-based industry creating and sharing prosperity?
  • How will it affect the future of work?

Questions like these will animate the debates in Atlanta this October.

Spanning two and a half days, the conference will include plenary sessions reflecting different facets of the science and innovation system, presentations of well-developed research, and an early career poster session.
