No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Assistant Professor Andrea Thomaz (Interactive Computing) has been named a Subaru Professor of Excellence for her outstanding contributions to the Institute and to her field of study.
Subaru and Georgia Tech have paired up as partners, based on a shared commitment to engineering excellence and environmental stewardship. To celebrate these shared interests and new partnership, Subaru has recognized one outstanding professor from each college at Georgia Tech.
In recognition of Thomaz’ accomplishments, Subaru will make a $1,000 gift to the Institute in her name, as well as holding a luncheon to recognize her and her fellow honorees.
