The Effects Microaggressions in the Workplace

Microaggressions are brief, everyday exchanges that send denigrating messages to certain populations. These exchanges are often subtle in nature, and can be manifested in the verbal, nonverbal, visual, or behavioral realm and are often enacted automatically or unconsciously. Panelists will explore the evolution and classes of microaggressions. In addition the dynamics, dilemmas, and implications of these demeaning behaviors will be explored.
