There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual communicators,and regular people like you.
Pictures in things such as posters, books, magazines,and brochures are often created or edited in Photoshop.
In these crash course workshops we will experiment with variety of photoshop tools and techniques to get you started. We will cover things such as: Liquify, Cloning tools, Spot healing, blending images using layer masks, examples of portrait retouching, adjusting image brightness/contrast and creating special effects.
Topics vary in workshops: A more detailed agenda of topics will be sent to the email you provide, closer to the time.
These classes are open to all GT affiliated: undergrad, grad, faculty and staff
Workshops are usually held in the GT Library- Crosland Tower- Room 2130 (2nd floor)
Updates & information on the class, such as cancellations or rescheduling, will be sent to the email you provided on your registration form.
The classes are free and they are drop in. Classes are tailored for the Georgia Tech community.
