C2D2 has a number of events coming up to help polish your resume and help you get ready for job interviews:
Both graduate and undergraduate Tech students across all majors will soon have two opportunities to interact with employers and receive critiques about their resumes and interviewing abilities. The Center for Career Discovery and Development is hosting the annual Resume Review Aug 27-29, and Interview Rehearsal Sep 3-5, 10AM-3PM.
Resume Reviews – August 27 (Student Success Center Basement)
Interview Rehearsal – September 3 (Student Success Center basement)
The second event in this series is Interview Rehearsal, where students can respond to questions in a mock interview setting and have their answers evaluated by recruiters. Interview Rehearsal is for students who seek to practice communicating their skills and experience and receive feedback on how to improve their interview performance.
Interview Rehearsal, held from 10AM-3PM, requires an appointment and sign-up has begun on CareerBuzz. Some virtual sessions are also available.
Career Advice with Michael Laughter - September 18th. C2D2 Advisor Michael Laughter will give advice on elevator pitches and resumes to all IAC students from 12 - 1:30 PM in the Stephen C.
