MC6 is an annual student innovation competition where 6 finalists are connected with 6 industry mentors and then given 6 minutes to convince the judges that their project is the best. Georgia Tech-Lorraine has always made a strong showing, with one or more projects in the finals. For the 7th annual competition the finals took place on March 6, 2019, in the Metz Technopole, with two Georgia Tech-Lorraine projects as finalists. – Soufiane Karrakchou, with his MicroLED project, and Antoine Richard with NeuraLeaf. Thanks to an overwhelming amount of support from the Georgia Tech community worldwide, Soufiane Karrakchou won the inaugural E-trophy and also came in third in the MC6 Trophy competition. Antoine Richard was awarded second place for the MC6 Trophy. Félicitations (congratulations) to both Antoine and Soufiane!
