Want your student to have an experience abroad while staying on track toward their degree? Georgia Tech-Lorraine, Tech’s European campus located in Metz, France, allows students of any major to spend a semester in France taking Georgia Tech curriculum courses, taught in English by Tech professors. All of the credits taken on the campus in Metz transfer to maintain your student’s momentum toward their degree.
Georgia Tech-Lorraine is a year round campus, allowing students to spend their Fall, Spring or Summer semester abroad. Classes are held Monday through Thursday, with long weekends for independent travel. Group field trips also allow students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the French culture and take their learning outside of the classroom. These experiences equip students with skills and confidence that will benefit them in their personal lives as well as in their careers.
Well, it is also affordable! In-state students pay the same in state tuition as they would in Atlanta and out-of-state students also pay in-state tuition, plus an additional program fee of $5,000 (cheaper than a semester in Atlanta!). Students are housed in dorms walking distance to the Georgia Tech-Lorraine classroom building, grocery stores, and restaurants.
