In the past few weeks, we have seen a steady escalation in tensions between Iran and the US. Military conflict has threatened to accompany economic warfare as Tehran and Washington continue to trade combative rhetoric. Last month, Trump revealed he was just ‘minutes’ away from authorizing air strikes on Iran. Those of us in arts and humanities know wars have no winners. We believe another war in the Middle East will be disastrous and that we must urgently use our voices to generate awareness, empathy and love.

Pedram Falsafi, conductor and composer of classical guitar, in collaboration with Ayda Melika, filmmaker and the director of the Iranian Studies Initiative at Georgia Tech, bring together a selection of captivating music, video art, and Persian poetry in a political imagination calling for dialogue and peace.
