GTRI Entrance Improvements begin final stage July 29

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Final improvements begin July 29 on the new concrete apron off State Street into the gravel lot.  Please be aware of new traffic cones and signage.

The State Street entrance into the gravel lot North of Baker Building will be closed starting Monday, July 29th .  The plan is to complete pavers and the new concrete apron off State Street into the gravel lot   During this time access to the gravel lot will be provided through the paved lot off of Dalney Street – watch for signage and cones designating the connecting drive from the paved area to the gravel area.  Please caution your patrons that this connecting drive must be left open in order for everyone to access the gravel lot area. 

Tentative Construction Completion Date:  Wednesday, August 7th, 2019

 Impact (see attached map):    

·Traffic control devices will be placed to maintain continuous in-bound and out-bound traffic on State Street throughout project duration. (May 28th to August 7th)

· Select parking spaces in paved lot North of Baker will be required to be blocked during stair demolition. (Timeframe – TBA)

See attached traffic control plan for further clarification.  These dates are subject to change depending on weather.
