There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The School of Materials Science & Engineering is proud to announce that Professor Molly Stevens from the Imperial College of London will be our guest lecturer for the Brumley D. Pritchett Lecture Series on November 10 and 11, 2010.
On Wednesday, November 10, Pritchett Lecturer, Professor Stevens’ seminar, “Engineering New Organs and Other Small Challenges” will be at 4:00 pm in the Van Leer Auditorium. A reception will precede the lecture at 3:30 pm in the Van Leer Atrium.
On Wednesday evening, November 10 at 6:00 pm, MSE faculty and guests are invited to dinner with Professor Stevens at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.
On Thurs., November 11 at 4:00 pm, Professor Stevens will present the Pritchett Research Lecture entitled “Bio-inspired Materials for Tissue Regeneration and Biosensing” at 4:00 pm in the Ferst Center, Richards Gallery with a reception immediately following in the Ferst Center, Westbrook Gallery.
On Thursday evening, November 11 in the Bill Moore Student Success Center, President’s Suites A,B,C, & D MSE will host a dinner and Trivia Night with External Advisory Board members, faculty, research assistants, graduate students, and undergraduate scholarship students.
