July 4 Operating Hours and Adjustments

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Some departments will have changes in operating hours for the July 4 holiday. Below are the hours for the bookstore, Burdell's, BuzzCard Center, Campus Recreation, Dining, Stamps Health Services, Student Center and Transportation.

(1) Bookstore - Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech, 48 5th Street, Atlanta
The Bookstore will have the following special holiday hours for the 4^th of July weekend;

7/4 10am-4pm
7/5 10am-6pm

(2) Burdell’s (Student Center Commons)

Closed on Thursday, July 4
Open 9am-3pm on Friday, July 5

(3) BuzzCard Center
The BuzzCard Center, located on the 2nd floor of the bookstore, will be open during its summertime schedule with the exception of Tuesday, May 7.

Summer hours are M-F 8am-5pm.

(4) Campus Recreation Center (CRC):

Closed on Thursday, July 4

No Georgia Tech Transit Service on Independence Day
Stingers, Trolleys, GT-Emory Shuttle, NARA-TEP Shuttle, and Paratransit will not operate on Thursday, July 4, 2019, due to the Independence Day holiday. Summer transit service levels will resume on Friday, July 5, 2019.
Stingerette service will end at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 and resume at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5.
