The School of History and Sociology welcomes Dr. James Elliott, Professor and Chair of Sociology at Rice University. He will give a talk on "What Lies Ahead: The Long-Term Impacts of Rising Disaster Costs on Social Inequality." The talk is from 4:00 - 5:30 PM in the Old Civil Engineering Building, room 104 (the "Mel").  All are welcome.
