June is here, meaning that summer is almost here! Our office is excited to welcome and meet the incoming summer first-years and their families for the iGniTe First-Year Summer Launch program. Transitioning into a new environment can be scary for both student and parents, and our office hopes to make that transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. The iGniTe program allows the student to become a part of the Georgia Tech community starting in the summer rather than the fall, giving them extra time to familiarize themselves to the campus, the surrounding city of Atlanta, and the new experience of being in college.

What is iGniTe?

The iGniTe First-Year Summer Launch Program allows incoming Georgia Tech first-years to get a head start on their degree the summer before their first year. The iGniTe program is a great opportunity to get a head start on classes, learn the campus, and make friends! More information about the iGniTe program can be found at: http://summer.gatech.edu/iGniTe

Schedule/Calendar of Events

Students will move onto Georgia Tech’s campus a week before Late-Short Summer classes start and activities will include FASET orientation as well as a plethora of welcoming events for the seven different iGniTe tracks.
