Just before making their graduation from Georgia Tech official this weekend, students and guests at each ceremony will hear a reflection from a graduating member of the class.

With four ceremonies this semester, the following four Yellow Jackets will address their peers on Friday and Saturday:

  • Ph.D. Ceremony: Caitlyn E. Seim
  • Master’s Ceremony: Rachel W. Chen
  • Bachelor’s Morning Ceremony: Deb Kumar Banerji
  • Bachelor’s Afternoon Ceremony: Leah Jamison Miller

Seim, a doctoral candidate, conducted research on wearable computing. Her advisor is Thad Starner, and she will earn a Ph.D. in human-centered computing this weekend.

Chen is earning a master’s in human-computer interaction. She has interned with IBM and served as a graduate research assistant with the Georgia Tech Research Institute.

Banerji, a computer science major, has interned with NCR and Facebook and has served as a head teaching assistant. He is specializing in intelligence and theory.

Lastly, Miller, a Decatur native and business administration major, will address her classmates Saturday afternoon.
