WCP 2019 Awards Announced

Full Summary:

Isabella Bowland received the program-wide Student Award for Excellence in WOVEN Communication. A major in chemical and biomolecular engineering taking Dr. Rebekah Fitzsimmons' English 1102 class, Isabella wrote a children's picture book about the Flint Water Crisis and the true story of 11-year-old engineer Gitanjali Rao, who built a portable, affordable lead detector.

Four Brittain Fellows won annual faculty awards.

CHELSEA MURDOCK was awarded the Helen H. Naugle Professional Tutor of the Year Award.

LEAH MISEMER won the Award for Multimodal Innovation.

PATRICK ELLIS won the Award for Multimodal Innovation.

REBEKAH FITZSIMMONS won the Award for Excellence in Pedagogy.
