Leslie Ross, academic program manager I in the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy, has been named by NACADA – The Global Community for Academic Advising – as one of ten selected from an international pool of applicants to be apart of its 2019-2021 Class of Emerging Leaders.
The Executive Leadership Program is a two-year program in which Ross will gain the skills, experiences, and knowledge needed to move into elected positions within the Association. In addition, she will prepare research, publications, and presentations in NACADA. Ross will be provided some funding by NACADA to assist her in participating in programs or events.
Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Flaherty, NACADA’s Executive Director, writes, “We are extremely proud of Leslie and know that NACADA, Georgia Tech, and Leslie will benefit from her involvement in this program.”
NACADA previously recognized Ross as an award winner for Outstanding Academic Advisor during its 2018 Conference.
The School of Public Policy is a unit of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
