Are you interested in leadership, cross cultural communication, and meeting people from different cultures? From February 18-20, 2011, this conference will bring together 200 plus of Georgia's international students and US study abroad students for a weekend of cross-cultural training, leadership development, and team-building. Students from colleges or universities all over Georgia participate in this event. For more information, please look at the GILC 2011 Brochure.
Georgia Tech may send a total of 15 students, to be determined by the Office of International Education (OIE). OIE is able to pay the registration fee for ten students and will award this to the most qualified applicants. The remaining 5 students will need to pay the fee ($65) on their own or request a student organization to sponsor them. Transportation, lodging, and meals during the conference will be provided for all students.
To be considered for participation in GILC, please complete and submit the student application GILC Application 2011 by October 22nd. Participants will then be notified of their selection by November 12, 2010.
Deadline: Friday, October 22, 2010 at 4:30pm. Forms may be submitted directly to OIE or by email to Marilee Smith at Marilee.Smith@oie.gatech.edu
