The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking multiple civilian Jr. Law Enforcement Analysts (entry-level). They will be accepting applications between 3/25 to 4/5.  Please feel free to circulate to your networks or individuals that may be interested.

Employees in this class complete a training program that may include attending training sessions, participating on assignments and/or other tasks designed to familiarize them with law enforcement information management systems, crime analysis, intelligence analysis, and research. The Intelligence, Research, Operations, and Real-Time Crime Center assignments vary in nature and increase in complexity as the employee gains experience. Employees work on assigned shifts in the Real-Time Crime Center assignment. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical superior.

Minimum Experience and Education include completion of a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) at an accredited college or university with major coursework in criminology, criminal justice, crime science, data science, geography, intelligence analysis, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related social science field. Applications may be accepted if the date of graduation is Spring of 2019.

Applicants must be able to pass, prior to appointment, a local, state and national criminal background check including a fingerprint-based check as required by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Security Policy.  Please note, selected applicants must become residents of Philadelphia within 6 months of employment.
