Seminar Topic:  WDM Optical Networks:  Big Pipes for Big Data

Abstract of Talk:  ADVA and others in the WDM optical networking industry are pushing the technology envelope to enable higher bandwidth, longer reaching, and lower latency network traffic. During our discussion we will share an overview of the rapidly evolving technology landscape of the sometimes overlooked thoroughfares at the heart of the internet and cloud computing, as well as providing a view of the market drivers and architectural trends that are driving and shaping bandwidth demands. Please join us for an informative presentation and Q&A.
