Spring break is March 18–22. While many students will be traveling off campus, if you don’t have plans yet, don’t despair. There is a lot going on in and around Atlanta, so everyone can take advantage of the week off from classes.
Come out and support the Yellow Jackets at any of several athletic events throughout the week. Admission to all events is free with a valid BuzzCard.

Bonnaroo is hitting the road to bring the spirit of the music festival to cities around the country. Enjoy a virtual reality game competition and a performance by Pure Colors and Caleb Wheels. Attendees at each event will have a chance to win Bonnaroo tickets.

The Atlanta Hawks are playing three home games during Spring Break and the weekend after. They play the Houston Rockets on March 19, the Utah Jazz on March 21, and the Philadelphia 76ers on March 23. Potential attendees should note that the game against the Jazz is also the Hawks’ UGA Alumni Night.

Burgers on the Beach is designed for those who can’t make it to the beach during Spring Break. Aside from the ambiance, customers can enjoy half-off burgers. This is a recurring event that takes place every Thursday.

1UP Comedy presents its weekly Friday night show with routines by 10 comics for $10. The performers vary by week and are a surprise each time. The show is ages 18 and up.
Several big concerts will also be taking place in Atlanta during Spring Break, including Mumford and Sons, Hozier, and Travis Scott.
