Maya is a 3D graphics modeling and animation program. It is commonly used for things like game design and product modeling.

Maya is a powerful tool that can bring illustrations to life with many different tools to easily manipulate objects. This class is part 2 of a 3 part beginner course that will focus on modeling, rigging, and animating a character that can be implemented in a game.

In this second class, we will finish up learning the basics of shape manipulation and start making our own character. We will learn polishing with features like adding textures to the character. We will then learn how to make a simple rig to apply to the character in preparation for learning to animate it..

This workshop is open to Georgia Tech faculty, staff or students only.

Information and updates, including what to bring to the workshops will be sent to the email you provide in your registration.
