Interdisciplinary Education, Research, Public Engagement, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Join faculty, staff and students to learn about two new exciting initiatives at Georgia Tech: the Atlanta Global Studies Center (a Title VI National Resource Center Consortium with Georgia State University) and RCE Greater Atlanta, officially acknowledged by the United Nations University, a regional, multistakeholder sustainability network co-led by GT’s Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain. The session will focus on how you can get involved in these vibrant and dynamic communities whose interests connect the local to the global.
The information session will cover funding opportunities for faculty and students, course development initiatives, collaborative working groups, a visiting scholar program, k-12 outreach initiatives, information about the Atlanta Global Studies Symposium on April 25-27, 2019, and innovative graduate programming. This event is free and open to the public.
