IT Scheduled Maintenance to be Performed Sunday, Feb. 24

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. As part of continuous efforts to improve service performance and customer experience, and in preparation for migration to Coda, Information Technology will perform a series of data center upgrades and migrations on Sunday, Feb. 24. 

This service window includes intermittent delays or disruption to some campus IT services between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., as well as occasional interruptions in wireless connectivity between 9 a.m. and noon.  Services include PeopleSoft, web hosting, Banner, and eduroam.

Service owners and technical teams will be onsite throughout the day to monitor the progress of upgrades and migrations and provide ongoing communications for customers across the Institute. Up-to-date progress will also be provided on Georgia Tech’s Status page at status.gatech.edu.
