The School of Literature, Media, and Communication and the Georgia Tech Library will host science fiction author and publisher Bill Campbell at Georgia Tech on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Bill Campbell is a critically acclaimed author whose work includes the Locus Award-nominated Stories for Chip: A Tribute to Samuel R. Delany (with Nisi Shawl); and the Glyph Award-winning APB: Artists against Police Brutality (with Jason Rodriguez and John Jennings). His publishing company, Rosarium, is currently the only one in the world that actively recruits genre fiction from artists of color both within the US and around the world. Mr. Campbell will give a public reading entitled "Astral Traveling: Exploring Afro Past, Present, and Futures with Bill Campbell" from 11-12 pm in the 7th floor Reading Room in Crosland Tower.
