High School Senior Gets Georgia Tech Decision at Work Chyna McCall was hard at work when she got the good news.
“I was too impatient to wait,” McCall explains.
The high school senior and Buford, Georgia native was working her midday shift at Arby’s when she found out she had been accepted to Georgia Tech.
The moment was caught on camera.
“My boss wanted to record the moment so I could share it with my mom later on,” McCall explains.
Inspire Brands, the parent company of Arby’s, reached out to McCall learn more about her story. Inspire CEO Paul Brown is a Georgia Tech alumnus.
McCall plans to major in biology or biomedical engineering in the fall. She plans to continue working at Arby’s during school breaks.
