Full Summary: In this workshop, graduate students will discuss strategies for creating academic posters.

In this workshop, we will discuss strategies for creating academic posters, focusing on design elements, and for presenting posters (at conferences, in competitions, etc.). There will be a question and answer segment following the presentation. As a result of attending this workshop you will better understand how different visual elements combine to make a poster clearer or more confusing, how to prioritize information for the space allotted in a poster, and how to succinctly discuss your research in a poster presentation.

This workshop is directed towards graduate students. Postdocs are welcome as walk-ins as space allows.
