There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Less-than-Truckload (LTL) Market Rate Analytics project attempts to determine the true market rate for shipments at any instance of time based on historical shipment information. This will allow Schneider Logistics (SLI) to provide better value to managed customers. It will also compliment SLI's existing capability and product offering of benchmarking 'truckload' lanes on a consultative basis. Both SLI and Schneider Payment Services will be able to use the process to offer a value-added benchmarking service to its customers. This tool will also serve as a good resource for bringing new customers to current SLI customer portfolio by benchmarking the potential customer's performance with the market. Moreover, the process has value for internal consulting in engineering studies by means of using most up-to-date market rates.
