Former School of Public Policy alumni, Fatimot Ladipo was recently appointed by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms as the new director of Intergovernmental Affairs. In Fatimot's new role, she will oversee the City of Atlanta's state and federal governemnt affairs team along with the the legislative team which represents the Mayor's administration before Atlanta City Council. Fatimot's appointment is effective immediately.
Fatimot Ladipo has over 15 years of experience in government and community affairs, including several years focused on education legislative issues. She recently served as Regional Director for External Affairs for AT&T. At AT&T, Fatimot was where she was responsible for advancing the company’s legislative and regulatory agenda at the local and state level. She also served as the Executive Director of Government Relations for Kennesaw State University (KSU). Ladipo is a member of the School of Public Policy Advisory Board.
Fatimot's appontment is effective immediately.
