The Cybersecurity Lecture Series at Georgia Tech is a free, one-hour lecture from a thought leader who is advancing the field of information security and privacy. Invited speakers include executives and researchers from Fortune 500 companies, federal intelligence agencies, start-ups, and incubators, as well as Georgia Tech faculty and students presenting their research. Lectures are open to all -- students, faculty, industry, government, or simply the curious.

Bio's

Karun Rajasekharan is a Product Security Architecture Leader at Honeywell Building Technologies. He has 30 years’ experience in software development and product management with a focus on networking, security, and cloud infrastructure/operations. Previously he has worked as a consultant for various cloud and healthcare companies in security, cloud migration, and compliance as well as being a co-founder at Virima Technologies. 

Emil Man’s career in cybersecurity spans 15 years and includes engineering roles, as well as security architecture roles and now as a product security leader for Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions. Working for Internet Security Systems (acquired by IBM) helping customers with deployment of security solutions from the perimeter of their infrastructure all the way to the desktop at small companies as well as governmental institutions in Europe as well as the United States.  Lately, within Honeywell Emil is working to help teams all over the world build security into innovative solutions for customers in a wide range of industries and geographical locations.
