For nearly 15 years, the Student Leader Retreat has provided a forum for student leaders, staff, and faculty to engage in meaningful dialogue around campus issues and initiatives. This two-day program strives to create a space where Georgia Tech students can practice their leadership skills by collaborating with other organizations and administrators in order to develop relationships and better serve their constituents.

In 2019, the Student Leader Retreat will be working with Michael Miller, a leadership facilitator with over 20 years of experience, to explore issues and practices for which student leaders at Tech continually request support and training. The retreat will explore questions such as: How can I build strategies to lead sustainable change for my student organization? How may I better manage issues of membership engagement? How can I make my organization a more open environment for new members?

Sixty leaders from Georgia Tech’s 500+ registered student organizations will attend the retreat in 2019. Applications are open to any current registered student organization officer; the application is available here: https://orgsync.com/143502/forms/346912.
