We are excited to announce a new philosophy for our competition – one that focuses on an in-depth understanding of the social/environmental issue a student is passionate about.

We are morphing our previous tracks - Ideas and Advanced - into two new tracks: Problem Discovery Track -  for students who are exploring a social/environmental issue with the intent of gaining a deep understanding of that space and where their skills fit in, and Solutions Discovery Track - for students who are more advanced on their discovery journey and are formulating community-based solutions.

We will award several teams in both tracks and all teams are eligible to compete in our specialty awards (Best Video, Best Poster, People's Choice).

Participating in I2S also fulfills the Final Deliverable requirement for the Serve-Learn-Sustain Innovating for Social Impact Program.

List of teams and judges will be available here.

I2S funding is made possible through the generous support of our Georgia Tech and Community Partners:

The Cecil B. Day Program for Business Ethics (Solution Discovery Track Awards)

Center for Serve - Learn - Sustain (Problem Discovery Track Awards)

Steven A. Denning Technology and Management Program

Design Bloc Georgia Tech

Join us for an afternoon of immersion, innovation, and ice-cold pops.
