Operations Research & Cyberinfrastructure: Initiatives at the National Science Foundation
The US National Science Foundation has established an Office of Cyberinfrastructure to coordinate and support the acquisition, development and provision of state-of-the-art cyberinfrastructure resources, tools and services essential to the conduct of 21st century science and engineering research and education. The speaker will outline the activities of this office, and their relevance to Operations Research.
Stephen Nash is a program director for OR at the NSF. There are slots open for him to have individual or group meetings.
