Back by popular demand Health Initiatives will have multiple pet therapy dates throughout the spring semester. Pet therapy is offered at Georgia Tech to assist students, faculty, and staff to reduce stress and anxiety. 

Research shows that pet therapy can help:

  • Provide a sense of comfort, confidence, and companionship

  • Reduced feelings of loneliness

  • Reduce blood pressure

  • Improve immunity

  • Decrease stress
