Join SLS, Civic Engagement, and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance for Georgia Tech's annual MLK Day of Service. **This is an outdoor project.**
Participants will be removing invasive plants from the park/mountain trails & garden. Delineating and marking the trails,and cleaning off Grandfather Beech platform & trails near the historic tree. Participants will also be aiding us in removing debris/trash and dumped furniture/fixtures, and natural materials from idle locations around the streets that perimeter the OAC and Hartnett Community Garden.
Check-in begins at 7:30 AM at the Student Center Ballroom. The project will stretch from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and a meal (breakfast only) and transportation are provided for participants.
