Full Summary: Join SLS, Civic Engagement, and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance for Georgia Tech's annual MLK Day of Service.  The West Atlanta Watershed Alliance improves the quality of life in West Atlanta’s watersheds by protecting, preserving and restoring our community’s natural resources. WAWA’s grassroots approach to organizing, research, community science, and education elevates local community knowledge and lived experiences; enabling residents to solve and address their environmental challenges. For more information about WAWA, visit http://www.wawa-online.org.

**This is an outdoor project.**

Participants will be removing invasive plants from the park/mountain trails & garden. Delineating and marking the trails,and cleaning off Grandfather Beech platform & trails near the historic tree. Participants will also be aiding us in removing debris/trash and dumped furniture/fixtures, and natural materials from idle locations around the streets that perimeter the OAC and Hartnett Community Garden.  Check-in begins at 7:30 AM at the Student Center Ballroom. The project will stretch from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and a meal (breakfast only) and transportation are provided for participants.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED
