No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. 'BuzzRa' at Dragon Con (2018)The School of Industrial Design in December hosts Launchpad, its end-of-semester show of student work. New this year will be student creations of "BuzzRa" for Dragon Con.
The event takes place on all three floors of Architecture West.
Launchpad highlights the work of industrial design students as they are launched into the professional arena or into the next stages of their academic development. Besides friends and families, the event also attracts industry representatives.
Features this semester include:
Dragon Con -- A retrospective of four years of industrial design student work.
Student Galleries -- Selected works from grads and undergrads.
PechaKucha -- Students show their work in 20 slides in 6 minutes.
Refreshments will be served.
