Dr. Chip Crotts, Director of Jazz Studies and Professor of Practice in the School of Music, has been selected as an Educational Clinician and Artist for the Conn-Selmer Corporation. In this role, Dr. Crotts will present concerts, clinics and masterclasses worldwide, supporting the mission of music education and advocacy of the Arts.
“Having the ability to spread the importance of the arts and education, while representing one of the largest music corporations in the industry and Georgia Tech, is a dream come true”, Crotts’ says. “Being able to connect with musicians from around the world and share our mission will be a wonderful opportunity for the visibility of our program moving forward.”
Dr. Crotts will perform on Bach trumpets, while continuing to remain a sought after clinician, performer and adjudicator in the music industry.
