There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Undergraduate Research Ambassadors are selected each year to represent the UROP program and undergraduate research at Georgia Tech.
Ambassadors have developed several programs to help students find undergraduate research opportunities and to nurture those that are already participating in research. URA will be hosting the Fall 2018 Undergraduate Research Fair on Thursday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
They will continue a series of workshops on Presentations Skills, Adding Research to your Resume and What to Expect in Research during the Spring 2019 semester along with coffee talks with graduate students, faculty, and representatives from Pre-Health and Pre-Graduate programs.
For students who are interested in just speaking with an ambassador, they can come during the weekly office hours that are held on Monday and Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. in the Clough Commons, Room 205Q, or contact an ambassador via our webpage.
