With over 15,000 undergraduate students, six colleges, and more than 30 majors, the Georgia Tech community is a large and unique group.
Meet Will Bentley – B.S. Civil Engineering, Class of 2022
Hometown – Cartersville, Georgia
I think civil engineering provides students with an opportunity to use engineering to change people’s lives for the better. In high school, I was involved with a research project and shadowed a civil engineer and surveyor during that time. The experience really solidified my interest in the major.
I chose Georgia Tech because it has always been my dream school. My dad is a Tech graduate and I have always wanted to be like him. Engineering is also a passion of mine and I knew that Georgia Tech would help me immensely in pursuing a career in that area.
I really enjoy the unique blend of culture and people. Atlanta is such a cool place to go to college and experience life.
I enjoy taking pictures and shooting videos. I’m a member of Filmmakers at Georgia Tech, where I get to collaborate with other filmmakers and share interesting stories and ideas. Soccer is also a passion of mine.
