Tracy West serves as director of end use, power delivery and fleet R&D for Southern Company. She oversees a spectrum of research programs and projects in the
generation, environmental, power delivery and end-use sectors.
Previously, West was a general manager in environmental affairs for Georgia Power and oversaw its environmental laboratory. She has served as plant manager of Georgia
Power’s Plant Hammond and has held various roles in Southern Company’s engineering and construction services organization.
West holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Samford University.
Michael Britt is vice president of the Southern Company Energy Innovation Center. Under Britt’s direction, the center enables the development and commercialization of products and services across Southern Company that benefit customers.
Britt was a partner and Southeastern U.S. utilities practice leader at Oliver Wyman Inc. and served as chief operating officer for Accenture’s North American utilities practice. He earned Accenture’s highest honor for strategic achievement and has authored numerous articles and papers on the energy industry’s ongoing evolution.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
