Emily Gibson recently recorded this podcast for Time to Eat the Dogs. In it, she talks about women, aviation, and global air travel. Gibson is an associate historian at the National Science Foundation. She is the author of the dissertation “Flying the Flag: Gender and the Projection of National Progress through Global Air Travel” which was funded by a Guggenheim Fellowship from the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
