There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This workshop will go over the basics of Numpy and Pandas, Python's data science libraries. We will then use these libraries to read in a dataset, manipulate and clean our data, and then export, analyze, and visualize our refined data to gain valuable insights.
Recommended for students with at least a basic knowledge of programming and Python.
The coding environment is available here. Students will also need to add the cars.csv file to their current project, which can be done with the add file button.
