Leslie Ross, academic program manager for Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, was recognized at the 2018 NACADA (The Global Community for Academic Advising) Conference as an award winner for Outstanding Academic Advisor. Nominated by Beth Spencer, the Director of Undergraduate Academic Advising at Georgia Tech, and Richard Barke, the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Public Policy, Leslie was praised as a dedicated member of the advising profession and of Georgia Tech's community.
Ross was honored by Georgia Tech with the Outstanding Undergraduate Academic Advising Staff Advisor Award, an Institute-wide award recognizing a staff and faculty member who renders outstanding performance in undergraduate academic advising.
