Arts@Tech Faculty and Staff Art ExhibitThe Georgia Tech Office of the Arts announces a call for submissions to the second annual Faculty and Staff Art Exhibit. This exhibit serves as a unique opportunity for Georgia Tech faculty and staff to display their artwork in the Ferst Center for the Arts November 13 - January 31.
The call for artwork is open to all active staff and faculty employees at Georgia Tech through October 19. Entries can be submitted at http://arts.gatech.edu/content/faculty-and-staff-art-exhibit-0.
There is no fee to submit your work for consideration, or to participate if selected, but all artwork must be display-ready (framed, mounted, etc) when received by the Office of the Arts prior to the opening. Visual art in a variety of media will be considered, although space is limited.
A reception honoring participating artists will be held November 13, at the opening of the exhibit. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of artwork on display for the "People's Choice Award."
All submissions will be reviewed and juried. Each staff or faculty member may submit up to two pieces. Please note that undergraduate and graduate students can submit artwork to the Clough Art Crawl which takes place during Spring semester. Information on the Clough Art Crawl will be announced in December.
