No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. FutureMedia Fest, hosted by Georgia Tech from October 4-7, 2010, is an interactive “mash-up” to explore and enable new paradigms in how content is created, distributed and consumed in a converging media world. At the event, a group of the top executives and investors, innovators and entrepreneurs, academics and researchers in the media and technology industry will discuss the transformational impact of next generation digital, social and mobile media across industries, societies and our daily lives.
