The Petit Institute's Molecular Evolution Core Facility is hosting a Labcyte Technical seminar to introduce you to their acoustic liquid handler!  The Labcyte Echo® Liquid Handler is an innovative, non-contact dispensing technology that uses sound energy to transfer increments of 2.5 nL or 25 nL droplets of fluids very rapidly, accurately and precisely, resulting in miniaturized, higher-quality potency assays free from carryover and cross-contamination artifacts. The Echo increases sample throughput, reduces hands-on assay time, and provides significant cost savings.
